ALBUQUERQUE, NM - U.S. Senate candidate Nella Domenici visited Solare Collegiate School in Albuquerque to meet with students, teachers, and administrators about the success the school is having educating more than 300 students. Solare is in an underserved area and is helping students of all backgrounds excel. Read more about the school in the Albuquerque Journal.
“Talk about an education success story,” said Nella Domenici. “It was a wonderful time stopping by their open house to meet the happy students who gave us a tour and proudly explained why they love their school. Equally, it was great to learn about how they were excelling in math and reading! And a ‘shout out’ to Rachael the founder and head of Solare Collegiate Charter. Congrats on getting approval to add K-4 grades.”
Nella and her husband Pat, along with a bipartisan group of leaders, started Excellent Schools New Mexico (ESNM), which has supported schools like Solare Collegiate School. Thursday’s open house event was to showcase the school building which was made possible by financing help from ESNM.
Nella continued: “I'm committed to giving all New Mexico children an opportunity for a quality education.”
